11-15-17 Weekly Update

Today is a new day, part of a new week, which are filled with endless possibilities.  “This is the day the Lord has made; let us rejoice and be glad in it.” Psalm 118:24. In this season of Thanksgiving, I have been keeping a daily gratitude journal, it is nothing fancy, just writing a sentence or two daily in my NOTES app of something that I am thankful for at that specific moment.  Each of my days (just like yours) have not been “filled to the brim” with blessings, indeed there have been challenges, bad news, set backs and obstacles along the way.  Yet for those who follow Jesus, there is only one option – no matter what we face, we give thanks because we do not face it alone.  The Lord who made the day (turning into weeks, months, seasons and years) accompanies us on the journey, we are never alone, and will see us through it all.  So wrap your arms around the possibilities and give God thanks!
