CMUMC Weekly Update – March 8, 2018

It is technically still Thursday (maybe by the time I hit “send”)!  There has been so much happening in the life of CMUMC – I am truly blessed to be serving as your pastor.  Our youth group is going great, Wednesday night Bread & Broth and the study “Made for a Miracle” is well attended, and Friday. Morning “Bible Talk” is such a blessing to me and to those who attend.  Sunday morning worship is alive and always interesting (maybe not always the preaching, but the movement of the Holy Spirit is certainly keeping my attention).

As we move closer to the Holy Week, beginning on Palm Sunday and leading to Resurrection Sunday – Easter, please be in prayer for our community and all worship services, held in any denomination or church gathering, that points to and glorifies what God has done through Jesus Christ, on the cross and through the empty tomb.  Feel free to be bold and invite others to join a church service somewhere – but preferably with us!
Don’t forget – this weekend we are taking some of our youth and will be experiencing a Jewish Shabbat worship, a Catholic mass and another version of a United Methodist worship!  If you want to go, email me!
Where have you experienced God this week?  Can you capture that in picture?
This week, when have you been Simon, Peter, or Simon Peter?  Just wondering!
